Through circumstances recently, I’ve been reminded of the gaping hole in the human heart that only God can fill. In an earthly sense, we have to wait a little longer for the harvest of delicious crops and gardens. But in the spiritual realm, the souls of men are white already to be harvested. We only need spiritual perception and sensitivity to see when that seed is ready. Some plant, some till the ground, some reap, but God gives the increase. As we watch the harvest come in, as we enjoy the state fairs coming up soon, let us remember to lift up our eyes and look. That field is ready!
