Spring time begins a little later in Alaska, but that doesn’t mean we can’t dream about flowers popping up soon! Flowers remind us of the Resurrection, and as we celebrate Easter it’s a perfect time to switch up the bulletin board.
Super easy! The cross and leaves are just construction paper. I added a green stripe of construction paper and some scraps of green plaid fabric I had laying around just to give it some texture and give the idea of grass. I wish I had more of that! The flowers were pretty scrapbook pages that I’ve not used because I’m not into scrapbooking. I folded them in half, then half again, and then into a triangle keeping the center in tact. I cut a curved line from the corner, then almost to the center, and then to the other corner to make the shape. It took me a couple of trys to get it right. Then I just layered them. The folding made them stand out for more texture again. And then I had some extra die cut flowers leftover from scrapbooking supplies to scatter around. Viola!
